My first Blue Isbar egg! She laid on 10/12/15 at 22.9 weeks and the egg couldn't be more beautiful! The next two she's laid have been different but equally beautiful. Grateful.

Very pretty eggs! :)

Woke up this morning to clean my chicken coop like i do every Sunday and i found this!!!!
Not sure which of my chickens gave them to me. Any guesses? Also the spotted egg, does that mean anything? Should it not be eaten?
Anything i should look out for?

Our very first egg! It may be small but at least they are starting to lay. We have 7 Barred Rocks and 3 Rhode Island Reds. Not sure which one laid this egg. They are 23 weeks.

PreacherSammy, It's a beautiful egg! You have good laying breeds imo in BR and RIR. I have 3 RIR & 2 BR (mine are good layers eff Sept 2015) + 3 misc and I'm thinking your first egg came from one of your BRs because it looks light brown. If I haven't gotten my mind and eggs mixed up, I think my dark brown eggs come from my RIRs. Have fun! Kay in NC. 10.22.15

Same here, our Barred Rocks have lighter almost crème colored eggs, and our RIR is dark brown. Congrats!
