I have 6 chicken 2 are pullets. And only 2 are laying. Milderd was a stray, either released or runaway,but we never found her home. She has been laying consistently since we found her. The other 5 are from a friend the older 3 are 4-6 months, Henrietta laid her first egg for us after about 2 weeks of living with us, we have 3 from her now

We got our first egg from our new hens today!! We have 11, mostly different breeds but I think it may be from one of our McMurray Turkens!

herownimage.... What beautiful brown eggs! I have 3 RIR's and I like the color of their eggs more than the other "browns" I have. I sure am glad I got 3 RIRs; they are so dependable. I have a total of 8 chickens of which 3 are RIR. Congrats on those lovely eggs! Have fun! Kay in NC 11.16.15
