These are my first eggs from my English Dorking's, Ameraucana's and White Leghorn's.

It is over a hundred degrees here today! We are out in the northern Nevada desert. I went to check on my girls' water a little while ago and there it was! Mom is a Silver Laced Wyandotte not sure which one did the deed, Cleopatra, Henrietta, or Peggy Sue...doesn't really matter. What matters now is I need to build nest boxes! I am the worlds worst procrastinator. I shoulda done it weeks ago!

Wow... your eggs all look so big! My first egg was tiny tiny... i think it was from oneo f my new hens although with 4 hens in there, 2 old, 2 new, and little experience on my part it could be any of them! Wish i'd taken a pic now.. they have steadily gotten much bigger ever since

Woooo-hoooo! Finally!!!! I was beginning to think I would have the only hens in the world that couldn't lay eggs but today they finally started. As of this afternoon there are four little eggs. They look perfect from the outside (just tiny)

FIRST EGG!! Greta, one of our ISA's, finally got it in gear today. Now we just need the rest of the girls to get with the program!
