Helen's first egg. She is a Barred Rock. Her hatch date was March 2, 2011. The white egg is from an older hen, and of course the smaller brown one belongs to Helen. I am so happy! It is my first egg from a chicken I have raised since she was days old!!!

I am sure it's a state record as well. 2 ounces shy of the world record according to the guiness book or world records..... she's in good shape. already left me another egg. it was bigger than normal, but nothing that big. I put it under my broody. wonder, can i hatch big chicks??????
