What an egg for the first one! And, that scale is fantastic.

Looks like the big day was today! Our Comets are only 3 1/2 months old but we found these two little beauties in one of the nesting boxes this morning. Surprise!!

GOT MY FIRST EGG FROM ONE OF MY EE'S

I was so excited , my wife was looking at me like i had lost my mind, i think i did for a moment! The egg is on the right, the white egg is Publix!

Not to mention it was a DOUBLE YOKE, i heard this was good luck, if it's not don't tell, I just want to think it is. It was delicious too!

Well, I've set for the last hour looking at peoples' first eggs, & enjoyed it. This ain't right!! LOL

Found our first eggs today. There were 2 and I have no idea who laid them lol. I am inclined to think it may be our banty oeg because they are small. We went to clean out the coop and change it because we had a tarp in there nailed up the walls and they figured out how to get behind it and sleep

instead of on the roosts. I told Chris we had to bring it down because I didn't want them going back there to lay their eggs. Well, when we pulled it out, lo and behold we found 2 eggs. Now I am not sure if it may be one of our red pullets. They are 14 weeks old. Our slw's are 20 weeks. I have no clue but they are cute.
