I lost several chickens the past few weeks so I set out a camera and got pics of this guy. He has not been here for 3 or 4 nights now.........or at least I have not gotten any pics of him........... and have not lost more. I am sure he will be back............

Wow he is a brave one and yes he will be back, i been studding the yotes here sense 2009 and they will disappear for a few days then come back threw,i have learned that they make rounds rather than stay in one area to hunt, my dogs keep them at bay but they still come looking for a chance to grab something to far out from the safe area but some of my dogs have good noses and once one is detected they will fan out in the area and place themselves between the birds and the yote so they don't have a chance to get a bird

Now that's one huge lizard, I was born and raised in Fl. never had one of these in my driveway though. Too far from water I reckon.

We have no water around here, either. I guess he/she was just passing through and was attracted to the chickens. Fortunately, he/she didn't have dinner here! We haven't seen it since.

Kinda like my mom lived out in the sticks on a farm and no water close by and they would have huge water moccasins come around.

Nice pics, love your peas and that dog looks like something I wouldn't want to mess with if I was a predator. He/she is on guard duty.

OH MY and i get excited when i see a lizzard more than 7 inches long, that there is a monster

That little "lizard" was 10 feet long from tip of snout to end of it's tail!
I have seen bigger ones!

I'd sure have to keep an eye on my mini dachshunds if I had Lizards that large roaming around. pics just don't show how big that is.

Aww nothing cuter than a weenie. I love mine to pieces and am very protective of them. Such a sweet pic. and I bet it thinks it's a Rottie.

He bluffs who he can but when the rottie comes along he is a real weiner

now the younger dogs think he is a killer but Tobie knows his place and who he can dominate and who he can't, he gives the big dogs any trouble and the males will try to pee on him

but if he is inside that glass door gives him lots of courage and he is gonna tear them up.
