The camera will work on 4 batteries but 8 is better. There is a cover that goes over the battery compartment.

When taking pictures rather than videos, the batteries will last a lot longer.

This is from the SAVA camera which is nearly exactly like the one I Posted. I like the nighttime pictures. I have other cameras that don't take nearly as good of pictures unless it's fairly close to the subject. Here is a sample.
From the camera I posted. It has a good distance for the field of view. This was a couple of nights ago behind some of the coops.

A couple of coyotes in the driveway.

the new chicks just moved into their coop and this is who we saw investigating last night... taking extra precautions and making sure our coop is really secured...

She's trying to figure out how to get the dead squirrel without going in the trap. You can almost hear the wheels turning and see her doing the math.

I don't suppose she's considering becoming a vegan.

Some canned dog food and some old chicken that I found in the bottom of the freezer for bait. I caught the fox.

This was from early this morning. It's either a dog or a coydog. I have never seen this one before.

I also saw a coyote.

We had the usual coyotes show up last night but it's been a long time since I have seen one of these on a camera, early this morning.

I think this coyote is young. It's not as filled out as others I have been seeing.
