Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

From what I've read owls swallow their feed whole and regurgitate the bones after digestion. So I still say a rodent like a mouse or rat. GC

Here is one of the murderous coons that took out my neighbor's entire flock! This is in my yard as they are looking for some fresh meat (Our coop and run are to the right of the walking coon).

You can see the cage to the left of the coon. It appears to have been sprung and a coon tail is just visible at the bottom right of the trap you'll need to zoom in, but can see the lighter band on the tail below the dark tip coming out of the cage. The one walking in this pic was trapped later that night. Overall, we caught 5 coons (between neighbor and myself) over a 3 day period... a whole family of coons feasting on his unsuspecting flock.

What do you do with them once trapped? I am in search for ideas on predators in my area. Thanks

The cross the rainbow bridge.

It is illegal to relocate an animal onto another property.

Raccoons are a murderous menace. These are being trapped and dispatched bc they ripped apart and killed my neighbors entire flock of chickens. Now they are interested in my flock.

So far, 8 coons caught between myself and two neighbors....that isn't as many as the number of chickens ripped apart and killed while alive.

Last night 3 on the game cam:

A friend has killed 15 so far this year. Apparently a BIG year for raccoons. Lots of people having problems around here.

Def do not have a problem with disposing of them in that way. I am new to having Chickens in Wisconsin, where Foxes and Racoons are the concern more so in than Coyotes where I used to live. I kept my rifle nearby for a reason.

We have seen 3 foxes nearby and prints in the garden and one crossing the front yard. I saw that some believe dog/human pee can deter them so I have walked my dog all over the area to pee and I took care of the back yard and around the coop/run. I have not seen the foxes in the last 3 days.

I have not personally seen raccoons in our particular area, but they are all over and Im sure we have them here. We are 500ft from a small river. I have netting over the run for Hawks. Im used to having Owls, but I have not heard one here.

I need to get trail cams. Been doing a little research.

Not sure if you are allowed to be more specific on the disposing part after trapping, you can send me a message. thanks.
