I need to get trail cams. Been doing a little research.

Me too. I'm borrowing the neighbors cam right now. Have to research to figure out best option for us.

Dispatch with a gun is quick for all. A .22 will do the trick just fine, minimal noise to disturb neighbors, and coon dies quickly.

If you are near to water, you may also need to deal with blood-thirsty mink. So, making sure they cannot get into coop is key. They will go into a killing frenzy and not eat a thing, just kill. You may have a problem with them bc they live near water. Use 1/4" hardware cloth to keep them out.

I rarely ever get a predator on camera, though I hear them all the time . I did, however, catch my favorite doe just prior to her delivery, obviously very pregnant, then the little one afterward. In fact, just a few minutes ago, she was on the driveway looking at me. When I said, "Well, hello lady", she looked at me a moment, then behind her and the baby ran across to mama and down the hill. I'm sorry, I never tire of seeing newborn fawns.

Foxy was back again last night. I got it on two cameras but on one it was running so the picture is very blurry.

Probably. The last two fox that killed my birds, I eliminated and both looked mangy and really did stink. Here is one I got a few years ago after it killed several birds. I used one of the birds as bait and put out leg traps. Now because of new people buying land and building around us I'm only using live traps.

Saw a coyote on camera last night. Haven't been seeing coyote, mostly fox. Not a good picture.
