Bobcats squalling during mating season will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck too.
Slightly OT, but anyway.
I was doing my horse chores this morning, the hunt club was getting gravel, all the hounds were going off, horses were snorting and blowing, I just figured the duptrucks had them all stirred up. So I dump my wheelbarrow, It is about 50-70 yards in the woods, turned to come back and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. It was all I could do not to run screaming like a 5 year old. Instead I walked with PURPOSE (purpose being getting the heck out of there!)
I have had that happen a couple of times, and always listen to my gut. No IDEA what it could have been.
Maybe it was a Sasquatch!!
Darn I should have taken a video.
I actually think the dumptrucks disturbed something, most likely a small bear that has been seen around there. But it was such a weird feeling.
THANK YOU ! lol (yes I believe in Bigfoot)
harveyhorses where do you live?
I got this picture at 5am this morning on my Moultrie m-100. House cat or raccoon??? In the picture is my run which is covered with a tarp to keep out the snow
I vote big house cat. White underside, and tail is too skinny to be a raccoon.
The coons around here would be lucky to fit inside a 5 gallon bucket because they are so healthy.
FOXES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I LOVE FOXES
Because of the white belly im voting for cat.
