Wolf Queen, sorry to hear that you've had to deal with such an obnoxious neighbor. I seriously do not like it when people mess with animals like that, no matter their reasons. My boyfriend has some neighbors whose kids would mess with his animals, they were terrible. They poisoned his dog, shot one of his horses, and nicked two of the horses' ears in the same spot. I'll tell you what, if I catch anyone messing with my animals like that, it will be one unhappy day for them.

Thanks. I deal with him how I can, but I take comfort in knowing that one day this jerk will get his. Thankfully he hasnt taken any known shots at my animals for fun though a long time ago he did brag about how he would use the local stray & feral cats for target practice. I know not everyone likes ferals & strays but I dont believe in killing so this pisses me off. Im sorry YOU had to deal with such low lifes. Sounds more like they needed a shrink. Did anyone do anything about them?

Not to my knowledge. It happened a few years ago, before I met my boyfriend. He couldn't actually prove (or didn't push to prove) that it was them, but he knew it was the neighbors' kids. Those kids have since grown and gone, thank goodness, but the boyfriend made sure to pile up his horse manure in the corner of the yard nearest to them, so they would get a lovely breeze......

Does your state have any laws concerning animal cruelty? If you can catch your neighbor harrassing your animals on that camera and there are laws in effect, you might be able to do something about him. Glad to hear the skunks moved in, though

Great thread, we don't get anything interesting around here so it would be pointless getting a game cam. Possibly the odd grey squirrel that's about it, love looking through the pictures though, can't believe all the wildlife you have

I don't know where you are located but i assure you there are things out there at night that you would not believe walking around in you own yard especily if you do not have dogs.

I live in England so we don't have half of the wildlife you do in the States although I do back on to a river and some woodland so I suppose you never know whats out there . One of my neighbours did lose 9 hens possibly to foxes but they did let them free range in the wooded area so I suppose it was inevitable, maybe I should get a camera after all could be interesting.
