Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!! I just wasted a whole day (should have been working) looking at all 98 pages. I also now want a game cam.

Just caught a coon that had been stealing eggs. He beat up my roo and that was it. He kept getting all the bait out without setting off the trap. Had a friend of my dads, probably in his 80's, tell me to put pepsi in a bowl at the back of the trap. We caught him that night. He told me they have to stay in the trap to drink it so they usually screw up and trigger the trap. He said they have a supper sweet tooth and something about pepsi they love. That is regular pepsi. The gentleman has given me lots of cool ideas. I will miss his wisdom when he is gone.
Pepsi! Cool! I did not know this. I've always caught them with catfood, but some of them of course did manage to get out before being caught.

Good info to know for anyone raising chickens. Raccoons seem to be everywhere.

I need to try this now. I've got one monster of a raccoon that keeps dodging whatever traps I set out for it, and I'm tired of losing birds.

We got him on our first try with the pepsi, after 2 weeks of trying everything else. I will warn you that the raccoon drank the pepsi and then was so made he got caught he ate/torn the plastic bowl to pieces. I was an old Country Crock butter bowl so no big deal but man we could believe he ate the bowl. I mean it. We could find all the pieces so he had to of ate them......

I work at a fish market, and we get quite a few raccoons around dumpster diving. The trapper uses marshmellows, he said they LOVE them..everytime he's set the trap with marshemellows he gets one:)

One of the best things about this site - advice that pays off! Thanks everyone for posting. I've learned alot!

Great thread! I had heard that about raccoons and Pepsi years ago and totally forgot about it! When I first moved to where I am now I saw a Fisher (or what I thought was a Fisher) eating composted corn cobs. Now that I have started a small chicken flock I hope that Fisher has moved on and is longer around this area.

Keep the pix coming!

someones going to have indigestion later lol

Within 3 weeks of putting our chickens outside

Less than 24 hours later it showed up again at 1030pm!

this one is older, but it was within a week of putting our chickens outside. Small Opossum and didn't seem interested in the chickens yet.

I laugh when people say they live in the Suburbs and don't have any predators! If you look in the first picture our neighbors are fairly close to us and we live in a completely residental area. I have a feeling the coon will be coming back every night, so I think we'll be trapping it soon and taking it the in laws to "dispose" of it. We have an indoor/outdoor cat and at this point I'm more worried about the coon going after him than I am about the coon getting access to the chickens. We have a series of pictures from our trail cam from last night that show our cat at 1116pm and the coon at 1118pm..too close for comfort.
