Even though that was last year we can get some cool pics on the new cam when it comes! Do y'all set feed out or no? we do have a "trail" behind the house I think we can set it up on first.

I used to set out a mineral rock and some shelled corn for my deer and wild turkeys (in the woods away from the coops) but we are in a county where they found "Chronic wasting disease" in a deer this year and it is now against the law for us to do that.
The mineral rock attracted a lot of different types of wildlife.

chronic wasting disease is a farse. It has been around out west for years and hasn't killed off the deer and elk out there but here in Wisconsin they make a big deal out of it and have been trying to "erradicate" whitetails ever since.

That cat in the picture looks to have an aweful long tail to be a bobcat.

Deffently not a Bobcat, looks like a house cat or a Cougar, had to judge the size. It will be fun to see what you come up with on your new camra. I want one

Chronic wasting disease is passed by close contact of the deer. Not feeding is supposed to help limit the close contact and reduce the spreading. The only case of CWD nearby was found in a farm raised deer. The State "required" all deer killed in the 2012 fall's hunting season be tested for CWD and found no signs in the wild population. This is in Northern York County & Adams County PA which borders Maryland, where CWD has been found in the wild.
