Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

Yeah, no kidding. I had that same issue with the dog nextdoor. They tried that invisible fence first. Either the batteries in the collar didn't work or he'd just run over the line and definitely did not want to go back through it and be zapped again. I just don't like those fences. One problem is that they require maintenance and attention from the owner. I feel like some owners just think, "Problem solved!" and forget about it. It doesn't keep dogs from coming into the yard and luring the collared dog out or some person coming onto the property and being possibly bitten.

So, lots of issues with invisible fencing if someone doesn't take care to be sure it's working properly. but these owners have apparently been told about their dog and we'll have to get an update from junkman to see if they paid attention. The bear would worry me, too! I just watched the movie, "Backcountry" from 2014 where a camper was eaten by a black bear then I come and see these pictures, LOL!

well I have not caught the dog on camera since I told the dog owners that their dog been at my coop, so I guess they fixed the problem with the invisible fence or collar, ( I hope so ) I do have a pellet rifle next to the door now, as for the black bear, bear hunting season as just passed so I hope he wont be around anymore. he visited us twice, but not lately, and it is soon to be hibernation time also.
thanks for your responses

My brother had a problem with his dog so he bought a collar. It has a tone, vibrate and shock mode. He put it on his dog and he used the tone and vibrate and the dog ignored him so he shocked him and the dog came running back to him from then on he only had to use the tone and the dog would come right back. I guess the dog didn't like the shock so from then it didn't try to run off. I know he paid quite a bit for the collar but I'm not sure if the amount of the shock can be adjusted. He had a remote control that was good for quite a good distance.

I have a remote collar for my dog for training only, (I don't use anymore) and I have an invisible fence for confinement, my dog stays on my property. I only wish other dog owners near me would keep their dogs on there property.

I have the Stealth Cam, too. What I would like to have is one where I can check a small screen to see what's on it rather than have to take the SD card all the way back to the house to see the pictures, though. I saw one of those for just $79 on Amazon recently, too, and was very tempted. Don't recall the brand. The batteries are eight AA lithiums, rather expensive, but I only have to change them about once a year. Might be more if you have it where it's constantly being triggered.

That sounds like what I would like. I am not as healthy as I was once and would like to know what is trooping around my coops at night.. love to watch everyone elses pictures. On the coast I am inland near a swamp. I hear as many animals as I see. It would be interesting to see on my computer what trumps around them at night. PS let me know how they work out.

I use the ultra lithium AA batteries also, they are a bit costly, but they last a long time. my browning cam only takes 6 batteries, where my stealth cam take 8. The lithium batteries are worth the cost, rather than replacing regular AA's every month or so. My Browning cam is set for video and the stealth is set for pictures. I remove the SD cards every morning when I go out to open the pop door and clean off the poop Hammock in the coop. I load it on the computer and then delete all from the SD card. then I put the cards back in the cams before dark. I don't run the cams during the day, all I would have is my dog & cat and me on film. lol
