Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

Agree it is a fox, their bushy tails give it away without anything to point out scale. Coyotes are quite different. I have never seen wolves outside of a zoo and never want to.

But we have foxes galore out here since we moved in 47.5 years ago., and lots of bold coyotes also.

Here are pics of a fox vs a eastern coyote (coywolf) in the same location so you can see the size difference and coloring difference at night. Lately I have been getting a lot of pics of fox, and fewer of coyote. In the summer and fall it was the opposite.

That looks like a fox...big bushy tail....but nothing there for scale.

Sorry what I was trying to say is all I've been getting is pictures of this fox and he's mate.

I'm in Alberta Canada and we definitely have timber wolves in this area. One was spotted dragging off one of my geese unfortunately..

looking like i need to check my game cameras i have not done so in over a month but i use them mostly for scouting but i always seam to have a insane amount of coyotes, fox and bear pictures on them.

I plan to buy a second camera, one with a preview screen so I don't have to hike down for the SD card and back every time without knowing if there is anything worth downloading. So, I've put my Stealth Cam on a deck post facing my steps that lead to my wraparound porch and last night I got the black cat that has been yowling around my porch. I've heard it, knew it was not my cat, but never saw it on the deck.

But the weird thing is, my own tomcat, Finn, is obviously avoiding this cat. I know nothing about cat behavior in this regard and Finn has always been very territorial, so this puzzles me, but you see the progression of the photos here. Finn's little heated A-frame condo is on a table to the right of the screen so that's what he jumps into after he follows the black cat up onto our porch. Check this out.

Cat at top of the steps after Finn leaves the deck, then black cat proceeds around the deck.

While black cat is on the other side, Finn comes whizzing back home and jumps in his house.

So, black cat comes all the way back around, and then looks up toward Finn's house.

I can't tell if Finn is looking down at the cat or not or if this is another tomcat.

Cat passes by then turns back toward Finn's house

And you see him/her leaving down the steps.

I looked for a new game camera recently with a viewer but didn't find any in my area so I bought a game camera viewer for SD Cards.

I saw those, but I found this one, no reviews yet, which bugs me a little, but seems like it might do what I want, though it is low-glow whereas my current one is no-glow. I am a bit surprised at all the weird names on these, but they are decidedly cheaper than the Moultries and Brownings. My Stealth Cam a few years ago was $128. It lasts almost a year on the 8 AA lithium batteries.

I bought the Wildgame trail pad handheld SD card viewer. It works well and I can carry it out to the game cameras to see what's on the memory cards.
