i had to mod my coop cuz i had a whitetail doe going into the chicken coop to eat the chicken feed.

took me a couple of days to figure out how i'd blown through a 50 lb bag in 3 days.

if i knew how to post a vid file here i'd put up a clip of it.

You have to have it on youtube or vimeo. Click the little filmstrip-looking icon at the top and you just put the link to the video there. There is no direct upload from your computer, even on this new system, I don't think.

I think my Pm crossed yours or something or I didn't see your post. Sorry! Cool video, though. It would be nuts if I found a doe in the barn one day, LOL. She'd have to jump the 5' fence, not a problem for her, of course, and she could waltz right in either end, entry or roll-up door. Of course, I would not have my camera on me, just like I didn't when I encountered the bear.

i approached to get her out of there and she started to bolt through the back screen wall and fortunately realized the screen was there and just froze...

the month i spent building that da*n cage flashed before my eyes with visions of that thief going apeshiz in there destroying everything trying to get out so i just backed away. i came back later and rigged it so she can't get to the free food.

Ha, I can imagine! A deer trying to escape a tight space can make quite a mess! Glad it didn't come to that. But, it made for a cool video moment anyway.

I have killed 7 skunks in the last three years, right here in the yard. I don't know why, but they seem to like it around here. I get sick and tired of smelling them. There's nothing like sleeping with the windows open and waking up in the middle of the night with the house full of the scent.
