Better keep your chickens in!

The run is pretty secure. The worrisome thing is my 30 pound dog had been in that same spot just 10 minutes earlier. He would not fare well in that fight.

We have a night visitor who cleans out any leftover chicken feed in the barn. The chickens are safely locked in their coop at night but they spend a lot of time in the barn thru the day. We call this mule deer our cleaning lady. There is rarely more than dust in the pan but she licks it clean, gets a drink out of the horse tank, and then disappears.
