Yes they are Barred owls, and i LOVE them, except for right now when they are in the tree outside my window doing the screechy thing. I think they have a nest very close by. I hope, maybe they will thin the squirrel population.
Confession, it was not a game camera. I did get one on that a few months ago.

We put the game cam down at the pond because we weren't getting anything except us walking to the camera and away from the camera. We got dozens of pictures from this guy. He walked back and worth eyeing the camera. This was the best picture.

Yes, it is a blue heron. I looked it up. I don't know why I didn't recognize it - we have blue and grey herons here. They love our koi pond and are very persistent!
