Post your Ivory button quail chicks and adults

Make sure she doesn't have more eggs than she can cover. The eggs will go cold in turns and she might get only a few, delayed chicks. I'll cross my fingers for her :)

I don’t expect eggs to hatch.
She gets up and forages and lets the eggs cool before going back to incubate them

It’s longer than 10mins.
They got cool by touch.
But I’m in tears
I woke up this morning to her dead I don’t know why.
She’s a thick girl not under weight.
She had clean water, clean food.
She did not have an egg in her when she passed.
I gave her a good look through she was with her best friend hen and finches.
Both hens in perfect condition.
Wonder if she ate something she shouldn’t have. (She is in a mixed aviary)

Oh, I'm so sorry honey. What a terrible blow to lose such a pretty girl. :hugs

That's so sad :hit
I guess boinking is the most likely solution for unexplained, sudden deaths in healthy birds, but unless you do an autopsy it's hard to rule out other reasons.
