Again thank you. I had to delete so much media last night to upload that pic and forgot to set the album view settings to members. By you copy and pasting the error message, I put 1&1 together even though it was brought to my attention by another kind member. I could see it so I thought it was just a glitch.

Late yesterday I tried to upload a 889 KBS (or close to that) PIC. That tiny egg pic. I kept getting error messages from THE CLOUD. As well from BYC saying my quota was over 10 MBS. I deleted tons and tons of photos just to up load that tiny size photo of the tiny eggs. That's kind of why I set the view settings wrong from being fatigued from spending so much time and effort sorting my pics choosing important and just waste of space. I sent a message to BYC asking if it was some kind of punishment of breach of policies more or less. No response yet. Now I started a photo bucket account and it is a gradual repair process.
Taking the pleasure away from enjoying the site. But oh well... It is what it is. Sorry about broken links and such. Don't mean to give half the puzzle pieces and cause a confusing thread forum but it is a mess for me to understand as well.
BTW, you have been helping me a lot and it is hard to show enough appreciation for your time!

The image management on the new site platform is rather confusing.

I have an old habit (from when I was on dial up a decade ago) of resizing all my photos that would be posted online or emailed to below 300KB file size. I had my camera set for a high resolution(and thus larger file size, 1-2MB) for printing but resized copies of those I wanted to share online to the smaller size using a photo program(Photoshop and now Photoshop Elements). A good habit I continue.

I more or less figured that out. All the pics I deleted were from a dig. camera. The ones I kept are low resolution phone pics.
Thank you for conformation on my suspicions.

It is a lot quicker to publish a photo via BYC media files but to conserve space I will try to do most of my "Picture Story Illustrations" with photographs hot linked via photo bucket and simple single shares via my BYC media files.

My oddest egg....first egg laid by a pullet, soft shelled and tailed, she worked out her kinks with this one because she laid a perfect egg ever since...lol
