beautiful! I want some strawberry jam! Our strawberry plants didn't do so hot this year. But I cannot wait until canning season even more so now! DH went to an estate auction of our neighbors today and bought me an entire pickup bed load of JARS!! probably 200 of them!! He bought the contents of a shed...for $15!! there were shelves and shelves of jars, ice cream buckets, coffee cans (both plastic and metal), plywood scraps (thinking another chicken house...), LYE SOAP, and a few other random things. What a great deal! I should never ever ever have to buy jars in my LIFE!

Momagain1, your beans look great. Did you use dried beans? If so, how do you prepare them? I have some dried great northern beans I'd like to can. Thanks, Sandra
