Just wash them....poke some holes in the skins with a fork and stick them in the microwave and microwave on high, turning about half way through the cooking time, until they are fork tender. One sweet potato will take about 8 to 10 minutes depending on how big it is. Then split it open, hit it with some salt and butter and enjoy....
