A few days ago after a very hard rain, me and my family came across these critters:

A crazy, creepy lookin spider that scared the crude out of my mom when she was weeding her rock garden. They came out of nowhere, and they were tumbling around like they were fighting. I think they were the same kind, and obviously the light brown one was the winner. They look like a type of wolf spider to me.

A beautiful, graceful looking moth (forgot the name) who we found just a few hours after the spiders.

And heres Sugar, who was watching us a few feet away when my mom came across the spiders. Shes not a wild animal, but she darn near looks like a wolf to me!!

I think everyone has seen these pictures....but I found this guy in a tree near my coop one night....

He comes through every night and goes to the creek for water and then travels back. I just make sure we are not out when he is.

Actually, I didnt get the pictures yet, but I found a huge snapping turtle the size of a tire in my yard yesterday! My brother and I put him in a garbage can and carried him up to a peaceful creek where we released him. scary looking prehistoric thing.

Wow!!!

I would have soiled myself if I looked up in a tree and saw a mountain lion staring back at me. It must be terrifying to know that a big predator is lurking around your yard at night.
My dad actually found a snapping turtle around that size in our backyard once. We never got pictures, I would love to see one that size!

Here is our baby great horned owl we currently have in our rehab program.

eta: I should've put them out in some grass to make it seem more real..huh...
Big buck of this year. He got another 8 point too this year but it wasn't as big as this one.
