Post Your Wildlife Pics!

Took this photo this past weekend... my husband nearly ran over it with his tractor on our farm. We gently persuaded it to move over a bit so he could finish mowing. Later we spotted a doe in the field and assumed it was Mom coming to locate her baby.

This wild Eastern turkey hen came by my blind during turkey season. Hens are not legal to shoot, so I took photos of her instead

Welp, I had a pet mockingbird...
she was the light of my life, until she died from a serious sinus infection. I was so upset.

Man I birdwatch obsessively and can never take pictures of them, my cameras too slow and doesn't have a good zoom. I'm jealous. I can name pretty much everything local here, except for the hawks

. I just can't identify them when they're alll the way in the sky. I'm learning though.

Great photos, everyone!
Lickskillet, you may already know, but I'm pretty sure that's an immature black widow. I know they're not aggressive, but I admit that I'm afraid of them and squish them if I see them (as well as those brown recluse spiders in our house). Other spiders I leave alone, even though they give me the creeps.

Yep on the BW spider! My favorite ones are the wolf spiders, they get HUGE! And my kids like finding their shedded skins. Lol

LOL I almost did until I realized I did not want my body found that way...I had my hand on my heart to keep it from popping out of my chest and felt the camera in the pocket and thought..."take its picture, it is going to eat you anyway" ... easiest murder every solved...I would have a picture of my killer on my camera and a killer clueless on destroying evidence.
