Posting images to your profile page

Okay, I am really getting frustrated here. I have tried countless attempts to load some danged pictures to my page. I did get the image URL's up but they don't open for me either, even though I was sure to get the img brackets off of both ends. I even have over 10 posts, which some have told me is a necessity. Help a girl out here. I would really like to get some pictures up! Aaaarrrrrrgh!

I'll go upload a new pic to my page and get screen shots of all the steps. Hopefully it'll help you out. And believe me, I had the same frustration when I first tried!

Open your Uploads page as well as your BYC page (in separate tabs on your browser). On your BYC page, click "Edit this page" at the top.
Once there, you will get the editing page. Among the buttons to click, there is one that has a tree on it. Its floater will say "Insert/edit image." Click that.

On your Uploads page, click directly on the image you want to add to your BYC page, and copy the URL from the address bar.

Back on your BYC page, with the Image inserting window up, paste the URL into the bar that says "Image URL," add an image description, and an image title, and then click "Insert."

When you have finished that, adding the images and writing what you want, publish your page.

Let me know if that works.

I guess you were successful with the photos, because I looked at your page! You have lovely kids, chickens, and coop! Love that stained-glass window - it's really over the top!

I guess your inlaws are not such idiots after all!
