Posting links to discussions in our comment footers

Hola folks!

I just wanted to clarify that it's BYC approved to post links in my comments footer to discussions I've created. I've seen others doing this and so I'm pretty sure it's okay, but I wanted to double check.

Sometimes I reference this discussion when someone needs help with wound treatment. I haven't been posting links because I think your policies state that cross posting or promotion isn't allowed. But in the comments footer it's okay, then?

Thanks for asking! I'm not 100% sure I understand without examples, but if you're asking about linking to some of your threads in your signature, then yes, that's fine.

How do I include a link in my signature block? Can I adjust the color?

I do see that the premium membership includes "signature permissions," but I have no idea what that means. Do permissions allow you to edit the HTML of your signature block? If I post the link URL in my signature without HTML, it's long and hogs up two of the allotted five lines.

Premium Membership is a paid membership, instead of just the free one. See the banner under my ID? There are some wonderful benefits to paying for your membership, so you should consider it.
