Ok- I'm not aggravated anymore but doesn't it get you worked up when someone pretty much repeats your post and attributes it to their having more than 100 posts and " I know a lot about chickens" ? just rubbed me the wrong way....

posts are only a count of how many times an individual has posted. Period. They in no way indicate the accuracy or experience of the poster. That being said, there are some notably experienced folks on here who are generally very gracious and helpful when someone needs advice or emergency help. There are many aspects that make BYC such a great place to hang out -- the VAST wealth of information and experience, varied topics of interest, and the social aspects, such as state/region groups setting up meets, swaps (enter at your own risk!!!), chat, and the good natured banter that keeps us all laughing and snorting various liquids onto our monitors... Don't be intimidated (or impressed!) by a post count. Do your due diligence and be impressed by what someone knows & is willing to share. JMO!
