postings are not an indicator of experience with birds

The way I look at it, if some one takes the time to ask a question then they probaly need an answer. I try to answer every question I can to the best of my knowledge, regardless to the number of posts the OP has.

thats very understandable, for all they know you could have less than 100 posts on this forum and over 10,000 on another forum dealing with the same subject.

My point exactly or you know, I could have 10,000 chickens and be makin' a mint sellin' them to KFC

Had to go back a few pages and catch up, Gosh I type slow.

Don't know why the chicken was in the pond. Saw her in it twice that day. Not since either. I guess she just wanted fish for dinner. At first I thought she'd drown, but she jumped back out after a couple minutes. I decided I couldn't guard her 24/7 from stupidity.

Truly don't believe anything debiraymond says. I hear she does know everything about everything.
But I will answer her one question.
"Yes debiraymond it was an accident"

I've had a few bird brains too- One that always like to get in the motors of cars and lay her eggs. The last time she did that , She rode with us to my uncles house and ended up staying there the rest of her days!! She was really crazy after that 5 mile ride on a hot engine!!

G'night all ! Thanks for the replys and really no offense to anyone just give us newbies the benefit of doubt---not everyone has been online since the internet was invented............

I can relate...no offense to any newbies, but I do tend to wait around for the old vets from the Original BYC to chime in sometimes when asking for advice. They are people I know have the knowledge & experiance,& got me thru the last few years of poultry raising w/ ease!!

I dont' know if I followed this thread right or not, but my first thought on it was....

I could have 10,000 posts from the 'game' section(all just for fun)
or
I could have 1 post with the best knowledge I have for someone else...

Neither makes me an expert or nonexpert....

There are ones who will 'forget more than I will ever learn, and there are ones who may still know more than I ever will'...But there could always be one person, whose not so 'expert' advise might help....

I guess I don't look at a persons post numbers so much as the info they have to offer....
What works 100% for one person is no guarantee it will work at all for the next...They could have a 100% success rate with their theory and the next could have a 100% failure with the same theory...
What works for one isn't always good for the other...THat's kinda one of the nice things about what others have to offer...You can pick and choose the info you offer or accept...There is nothing holding a person down saying the must agree or accept...
And yes, as everyone else has stated...everyone has started out with post #1 on this site....

Hope I wasn't reading into this the wrong way...I didn't mean to go on into a long drawn out post...Sorry for that....

Sooooo, you have finally deployed your secret weapon. Now you are typing with your feet too !!?? How many "keyboards you got ? One for the hands and one for the foot ? I am presuming you need at least one foot to eat and drink with.
