Posts being held for moderation?

Mine is being held I have sick ducking and dont own ducks yet someone brought it to me sick. I only know mammals. Plz help

BYC's ADVANCED SEARCH function is very good. Limit search to the Emergencies/Ducks subforums and enter search term(s) then click on the SEARCH button at the bottom of page.

For example (the more exacting the terms the fewer posts/threads returned), limiting search to posts/not entire site:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/ne...&order=descending&Search=SEARCH&Search=SEARCH

It's a process that all new users will have to go through

it was the same for me

posts/threads/images/links all restricted at first.

I can see the need to implement measure to keep spam down, but this is very frustrating for people (usually new members) who have urgent question. I just submitted a new thread to get help with some baby duck eggs I've rescued. I have no idea how long the approval will take, but even more frustrating is the fact that their is no evidence i've sumitted anything. No way for me to check the status of my thread under review. For all i know it did work and i'd be waiting forever... ( was that last bit dramatic enough? )

We're right there with you... we're INCREDIBLY frustrated by it too! We've done a ton of things to try to keep the spammers out while being able to allow all new members to post without being help for moderation, but each time we do, we get a FLOOD of spam posts that take our team hours to then clean up.

We continue to try new things in an attempt to resolve this issue, but for now, we're stuck with this current process.
