Hi everyone, looking for a little advice on what to do with my sick pullet. I found the top off on a planter bed of potatoes and nibble evidence on Tuesday morning. I noticed yesterday her behavior was off, she was standing away from the flock, pulling her head in toward her body and just not very active or talkative like she normally is. She was not interested in eating the mealworms I offered her and her comb looks pale.
Being a noob, I didn’t connect the dots between my sick girl and potatoes being poisonous to chickens until today after some research
She took a bit of electrolytes but not much. What else can I do for her or give her? Poor thing really doesn’t feel well..

Yes. I would also do a molasses flush with the charcoal to quickly moved the ingested leaves through the intestines to reduce the amount of poison that is absorbed.

One teaspoon molasses in one-fourth cup warm water. Get it all into the patient.
