Poulardizing / Caponizing

I believe I have the Caponizing procedure established fairly well but could really use some help identifying the oviduct location to cut in the polardizing procedure. I have a few pics from the web but they are vague. ANYONE???

I’m surprised no one sent you to look at the meat bird threads. If you jump over there, you will find many different posts on capons, how to do them, who teaches that, etc.

A couple of years back there was a video of people in China performing the procedure in just a couple of minutes. Maybe a quick YouTube search might bring that up?

Anyway, I’m trying to catch up with my interests here on BYC and saw this thread. Good luck!

There are many benefits of caponizing extra cockerels that you might end up with. Caponizing makes the cockerel mellow, they don't crow, they don't fight, they don't breed, they grow plump, they don't taste like rubber, you don't have to process them all at once and they can brood chicks.
