POULT EMERGENCY-NECK INJURY

This little poult has a neck injury and I'm not entirely sure how to treat it or if it can be helped. He drank a little bit of sugar water solution from a dropper and he can stand up on his own fine. He is also able to open his eyes and

make peeping noises. The photo doesn't show it very well but the wound is sort of red but not bleeding or really oozing at all.

I put a layer of antibiotic ointment on the wound. Do you think that's all I can do for it?

Some electrolyte and probiotic water would be good
