I know this thread is old, but thought i would add to it.
This is the best stuff i have used on all my animals, not just chix and guineas. i use it on my dogs, and my own injuries. i have used it for so many things that would be considered off label, i probably shouldn't list them here. like ear infections in my long eared hunting dogs. dental/gum infections, ear mites. fight bites, (on my own arms and legs) bumblefoot, cat's eye infection...
i'm not saying they approve, or say it's safe to, or recommend putting it in your mouth, ears or eyes. but i am saying that i did and nothing bad happened to my animals, or me, and they healed miraculously fast. (also, it feels good/soothing to my hot burning and bloody wounds)
it's hard to find.
not even on amazon.
only tractor supply.
and you should have it stocked in your first aid kit for the apocalypse.
