Does anybody have Buff Orpingtons?

Yes! I have three, Rusty, Sophia and Lucy!
They are up there in age.

Rusty is a fighter, he had a stroke after his favorite GLW hen died... He is still here!

Chickens can have strokes?!?!

Yes, it was a stroke that happened when his soul mate passed away.
It was sorta a stress/depress loss for him. My Dad actually saved him.
We where there when it happened. It happened to another hen and I saw it,
alone, but she didn't make it It is sad. Rusty was lucky though. It happened to my NH
and Rusty, my Dad's rooster. It is possible to cure if it happens in a nick of time.
