That's pretty good for laying hens here in Louisiana laying hens are only selling for 10 dollars right now chicks are selling well right now

right now for me baby ducks and baby Guineas have been selling the best right now there selling for 6 dollars each newly hatched

$30 for Black Copper Marans laying hens.
$8 straight run bcm chicks
$12 bcm pullets

$20-$30 for a laying hen!!!!! here in Pennsylvania we wouldn't pay more that $5-$10 at most.

I sell cochin bantams so the pricing is a little different... for 6 birds 4 pullets 2 cockerels I got 75$. I sold one of my partridge cochin bantam roos for 40$ a couple weeks ago.

Random laying hens I won't take less than $15-20 if they are pure breed price may go up to $30-35 and up to max of $75 for jubilee.

I would not feed a hen for 6 months, then sell it for $10 I'd rather eat it.

really? if we're just talking a standard laying breed there's no way I'd pay over $10 for it.
