Sad story, but my Rooster suddenly died on me this morning. I'm like 85% sure he choked while eating. Especially since his comb and wattle was purple the moment i saw him thrashing around.
Anyways, long story short, I went to go process him. I periodically check my flock for lice, but looks like he had several of those creepy crawlies on him. So of course, they crawled onto me and i promise, I just now took out two little suckers from my hair. I felt that nasty crawly feeling on my head.
So I know that lice are specie specific, but should I be worried? Would a hot shower take care of any stragglers? I just want them gone asap! (From my head of course.)
