Hi there fellow chicken lovers!
I'm a newbie, I have five assorted chicks that are doing wonderfully!

I'd like to ask if any of you have used a product called Poultry Protector, its a natural enzyme product that comes in a concentrate, you dilute it and spray it on your birds and bedding, it prevents lice and mites etc infecting your birds and their coop. If any of you have, or do use it, how has it worked for you? I got it for my birds and will start to use it when they go in there coop. I'm not a fanatical organic user but want to go natural if I can, and I'd like to prevent rather than cure any pest problems.
Thanks in advance!

Sure, this is what I know about it. I saw it advertised in the Oct/Nov issue of the backyard poultry magazine, pg 28, which led me several places to get it. www.firststatevet.com have it for the cheepest, with shipping I got enough consentrate for eight gallons, and as you spray it from a bottle it should last a good long time, and it cost me $31, and it got to me in three days!! The products web page is at www.Carefreeenzymes.com to learn more about it.
