Its worrying how intent you are on proving your chicken picture. If you have your own chickens why don't you just take pictures of them (and don't start on your camera shy chickens again ). And If you really won't, why cant you just say, yeah I found a picture of a really pretty rooster so I used him as my profile picture. Literally nobody would think twice

But its really about copyrights, you can get in a lot of trouble for stealing pictures. The original photographer is in the Netherlands. She also has all sorts of cranes, geese, turkeys and more. You are stealing the credit from her. This rooster is not from a humane society. It is from an actual photographer taking pictures of her poultry.
