Not sure exactly. We got her as an adult and I've been told around a year. Don't know how much I can trust that because the same people told me that my RSLs were RIRs.

As far as popularity is concerned you will be surprised. I can’t help with the rest. Sorry . Well, maybe a little more, the best way to understand it is to participate. Contact your county extension office and get a list of clubs. Also, do some research. Talking to others is always great, but right now it might be hard.
