Here are some of the pics we got:

Cheyenne (who met very few birds she couldn't love... or could take home).


There were a lot more BYC folks there than I realized. Wish we'd had a sign in sheet or something! How am I supposed to torment everyone with photos if I don't know you're there???

Oh gosh that girl of mine....she is gonna be the death of me. Notice how I did not leave unscathed? Let me tell you what happened....

PFF arrives with all her babies...Cheyenne falls in love with little roo and named him Bond James Bond 007 (James Bond for short)LOL. Then she is running around trying to get together 5.00 from everyone (your hubby gave her a buck which she later returned surprisingly)...then PFF tells her after she has been carrying little roo around for at least an hour, she can have the roo if I say OK. So Sarah and I try explaining that little roo would be lonely because we have no girls for him (to which PFF is absolutely NO help saying "It is up to you and your mom")...so Sarah finally says...I have a little girl for him...so off to the barn we go to corral PFF's polishes and the girl for the little man. Meanwhile, I am figuring out mentally what to put in the divorce papers that are surely going to come

and Sarah scoops up this adorable fuzzy footed cutie pie....so...off we go. We put cutie in cage and roo in cage. Then roo starts pecking at cutie's eyes and Cheyenne trys to do a "refund/exchange/give James Bond back to PFF" (who has already re-packed her van and could not put a piece of paper in there much less the roo whose cage was on the bottom)...Sarah grabs James Bond and looks him over asking "What is he?" to which an explanation follows and Sarah says fine...he can stay here, Cheyenne you take him to the barn.

So, we came home with cutie pie, Sarah has James Bond and PFF left with more than she came with I think and I am still happily married...for the moment...until DH finds out all my new babies from this weekend are Bantams and will not be able to live with Thor.

And yes I did come home with more than I took.. HAHAHA I replaced the ones I sold and got a few extras

Then again tho I knew it was going to happen I had all the ones from Sarah and the org. trio already on hold.. haha too bad we missed the marans or some of them would have been in the van too... tho I dont know where we would have put them.. my lap maybe.. HAHAHAHA

Those geese sure are happy to be free of the cage tho.. haha poor things looked like sardeans (sp?) in the first one we had them in till we re-arranged for them.

Girl those were some nice Chinese Brown geese...I almost snatched them up myself. I want a couple geese eventually and I like the Sebbies, The Chinese Brown and the Tufted Romans. You did good getting them and it was a great trade too.

Yes Little James Bond has two handsome blue brothers for sure. Cheyenne loves all roos that she can snuggle, all babies, all birds she can snuggle and she wants them all! I am not surprised she wore you down....she is tenacious not to mention she was carrying him around everywhere. hahahaha

If Cheyenne is as fickle with boys as she is with roos, there will be broken hearts all over KY before she's 16!

What did your DH think of your new blue house chicken?
