Poultry/Small Animal Swap Meet - TSC Georgetown KY 9/18/10

I have no willpower....I'll be lucky if I don't buy every single thing on site.

Cetawin, I will try to not take advantage of you in your fragile emotional state, however I will say upfront that I am still going to hand one of those blue cochins to Cheyenne and then run in the opposite direction. This was the plan a week ago, so I see no need to change direction now

He thinks I'm crazy too! Actually he thinks we are ALL crazy.

I got a couple black roo boys who are gonna be big if you'd like one.

Cetawin - So sorry about Thor.

Even though I haven't met you I know of him having ready some of your posts about him. Since I am bringing all of these adorable bearded and feather footed cockerels that need new homes, I would be happy to give you your pick 'cause its sad to lose your favorite roo. I know I would be very not happy if something happened to my roo, Emmet. At least it looks like you have lots of awesome pics to remember him by.

aaawwww thank you that is very sweet...I cannot wait to see all the boys this weekend and I anticipate forcing affection on them all...

NellaBean you behave yourself...LOL

See you at 10pm Sarah!

Alright, my display pen is finished! It actually was originally built as a temporary rooster pen and I have since added dividers so I can use it for this weekend....then it will come back and get a roof built and become a rooster duplex for the little monsters

I am bringing that big ol pen, as many birds as I can cram into the truck, plus a big canopy. My father is in town visiting and is going to come with me to help out and hang out. Good thing as although I can load/unload and get that pen put together myself, it will be a little easier with him AND the canopy I got is ridiculously complicated and no way I could put it together myself.

My father is not a chicken person...........but has an unhealthy love for cars/trucks/tractors/motorcycles/etc. So any DH's that are going to be stuck there, feel free to come over and chat him up. He would talk to a tree if it stayed still long enough (ha).

Planning on loading everyone and everything up tonight and will be leaving about 3-4am (yuck) to try to get there around 7am. I'll be the crazy lady with the big bags under the eyes and the coffee cup the size of Mt Everest. Just kidding.......big Silver Dodge Ram.....probably a blue or red skirt and white shirt. Just follow the sound of the bantam roosters crowing LOL.
