I already ordered my wish list :-). My wife said she is terrified, lol. Might be better that way as I got to get what I want. It would be longer but we can not keep many here and only hens which is the real kicker. As it is, I will have to get rid of quite a few once they grow out and we decide who we are keeping. I got Black Copper Marans, Blue Splash Marans, Golden Cuckoo Marans, and Cuckoo Marans- all pullets.

Nice selection of birds. You got some real beauties on your list!

I hear you on the auto coop door and water system. Sure would take some of the work out of things. Hope you get your wishes!

Well we also go on vacation and thanksgiving to New York for 2 weeks every year and it gets hard to get someone to take care of the chickens!

I'm very excited for my Poule De Bresse's come March. I'm going to start with a scratch run I think and keep the best guy and gal for breeding. Very excited, I'm also a dairy farmer so I can get them unused raw milk and corn mash for the last month of their growth! :p

I work at a dairy plant, should I do the same to keep it 'authentic'?
I was just going to give them lots of cottage cheese and grain. I plan on doing the same with the Jersey Giants to save on feed. ( I can get plenty of CCheese free).
