I leave my chicks in the hatching tray for 2-3 days until the hatch is done. I hate to open the door! Will poults be OK for a couple of days also?

The should be but I would come closer to just a few days with them. Poults are a bit harder to raise, and you have to dip their beaks and all just to get them to drink. I have never had to do that with my chickens. So, I'd be leery of letting them go as long.

I know a lot of people have said this about their turkeys, but I've never had to do this. Mine seem to do well on their own without me having to do much to point it out to them.
