Would it be ok to ask what color turkeys do you have or do I have to use the would variety?

Either. Although technically color is the next step below variety. At this time the APA has not recognized any colors but has left the possibility open.

I just went out and heard a lost poult crying. I realized it was too small to be from the others running around. Checked broody chickens and no hatched eggs. Walking around the poultry yard I found 2 more wandering around. Then I found the hen with a bunch more. Altogether 13. I took the 3 and grabbed another and gave them to another hen that's broody.
So I have 29 poults.
