I got some about 7 week old white broad breasted and some 3 week naragansetts and none of them want to roost at night. I've tried shelving, branches you name it they seem to just want to lay on the floor and crap on themselves. Is this normal or am I giving them the wrong roosts?

It's normal for them to pile at night for warmth. They will eventually go to roost as they get larger. Turkeys hate change.

Your broad breasted might not try to roost, and should be offered only low roosts as they are prone to leg injuries as they grow. I read straw bales can work well for them.
