My 7 little silkie eggs were doing great for 16 days, then the power went out. What is worse, I was not home to take care of them. I was gone for most of the outage. When I got home the temp was 61.9 degrees. It is now day 18 and I have the temp back up to 100 degrees. Is there any chance at this far along that any of the 7 may hatch? I am afraid to candle them or do the float test now that they are back up to temp. I do not want to take them out again and have the temp drop. Not sure what to do except wait and see. Has anyone else ever had cold eggs for more than a day and have them hatch? I know I have seen where they were incubated for 3 days and then shipped, but that was early in developement. These were 16 days along. Would love to hear some input.

Well I am hoping for mine to hatch. I will keep them in there until the 12th to give them 3 extra days, but I am hoping for a hatch before then.
