Last night another transformer blew and we were without power for about 5 hours. It was suppose to be hatching day but there’s been no movement or noises. It happened last night but I didn’t know about it till this morning. There was a power outage on day 18 and another one on day 5 I’m worried that they won’t hatch. I candled them on day 18 one last time and for a couple i didn’t see any movement like i had seen from them the day before. Should I be worried or just wait it out to see if they hatch?

All you can do is wait it out. You can't do anything anyway and the power is back on isn't it? It's probably not that big of a deal. As long as you didn't open the incubator and let the heat out it probably did not cool off that much anyway, incubators are usually really well insulated. Besides at that stage the chicks are generating a lot of heat themselves.

Plenty of us have experienced broody hens letting the eggs cool off for hours or power outages with incubators and still gotten great hatches. You don't want power outages but it last night's should not effect hatch.

If candling on day 18, you may not see any movement anyways b/c the chick is so crowded in the egg, or she may be resting.

Is this your first hatch? If your heat and humidity have been in the safe zone (determined by using a thermometer and hygrometer that you yourself have personally calibrated) throughout "Most" of your incubation, you should be fine.

Is my first hatch in a long long time but my temperature was at 101.5 in my still air incubator for most the time and my humidity’s 65% right now, so hopefully they are fine
