PPBA Show in Stockton, California

Well I have some hatchery minorcas, red stars, and leghorns and was hoping to get some show quality minorcas but after seeing how big they are I dont think i will have enough room unless i move. If i do move i would like to possibly get some from you Redandalsian if you have any for sale at the time.

The two big cockerels belong to a 15 year old boy from Arizona. He has been breeding this line for three years and they are looking pretty good. A great job by a junior exhibitor.

Hi I am the boy who showed those two Cockerels but I wasn't able to attend so my uncle took them for me. Does your name happen to be Don Montgomery? Because I think you may be the man my uncle told me to call.

Was there anywhere posted, or is there a way, for random spectators to match the exhibitor number to a human name? Trying to hope the person who owned the bird would randomly walk by while you lurked didn't seem particularly efficient or effective.

There is a list that matches the exhibitor number with a list the show management has at the front desk. There are usually extra exhibitor lists they can give out.

That's great! Congratulations! This was the tag on the cage of the boy in my photos. Couldn't resist the wattles. A cockerel would be in a different category, right?

He was trying to sleep, poor guy.

According to the list from the show, this beautiful fellow was shown by Bridget Riddle Exhibitor 47. We all know that she has some beautiful birds!

Congrats!!!  What was your Exhibitor number?

I don't know my exhibitor number because as I said my uncle took the birds to the show for me. But they were shown under "Hawkins poultry" because that is the name of my families farm. And I can post pictures of the Cockerel later.
