Oh so much better thank you, it is trying to drain, not where the nail poked me but down at the nail bed, so antibiotics and a special cream I have to put on it, I'm guessing it was more serious than I thought good thing I didn't wait any longer. Most of the pain has gone so that is a good thing, but my arm really hurts from the tetanus shot, I don't remember those hurting afterwards.

Thank you for the update. Sorry to hear about the discomfort and pain. For me tetanus shot never hurt either but the last booster did for DH. I noticed now it is not just a tetanus shot but unfortunately also a booster for diphtheria and pertussis, a shot my kids react to poorly too.DH had a very sore arm also while I did not with the combo DPT shot.I was told they no longer give the single tetanus shot. My nurse asked me if I wanted a tetanus booster and I found out when I looked on my medical records that they had given me a combo DPT booster. My kids told me they no longer give plain tetanus shots.

and good advice. After working on my Granddaughters full size quilt for a year+.
I finished today so I began to snip threads on the back because I'm sending it off to the quilter soon. Of course I just Had to snip a folded piece of the quilt too! sob sob.

The fabric is batik, the cut is very small about a quarter of an inch long and three cornered. What to do is the BIG question, can I place a very small patch, same fabric with lite wonder under on the back, then a great fabric glue on top to keep the edges from fraying? Very difficult to replace whole piece it's bias cut.

this must be the day for that, as I just realized I did this on my batik quilt I'm working on, I would do that what you suggested, as when it is quilted it will not show, and the pieces will be glued in place and fray checked, Mine was close to the sewed edges so I was able to sew it close to the edge and I put fray check on it, I hope it will be ok,

but this is the colors I'm working with right now, I wish I had chosen a lighter back ground/accent color but I'm committed now. This is paper piecing.

There are blocks pinned under neath the block I"m not crazy and making weird shapes , well not too crazy anyway
 

This is the quilt as it is now I'll send a good photo when it's finished,
I have decided to rip it out and replace it, I just can't give her anything but my best effort. Cross your fingers for me please.
 
Did I see that the date has changed to June for the blocks? I wanted to double check on this.
