I noticed your last post at 12:37am! It's 4:11 am here. I'm only up as we are in a severe thunderstorm warning, and a tornado watch until 5 am. DD texted me to say we are under a tornado warning. I get weather alerts on my phone, but haven't seen a warning. Just lots of wind and rain. Flood warning also, but we live on a hill, so not too worried about that for our house. The creeks will be up though. It's really dumping the rain! sounds like someone pouring a bucket over us. Will be getting my blocks in the mail later on this morning!!

lol, yes but if I can get into bed before 1 am I feel really lucky, I'm sewing blocks, mini-quilt for another swap, working on a quilt for a friend, and I have a DIL birthday coming up and trying to get her quilt done, and of course the chickens, dogs, cats, DH all need to be fed!!! I cleaned all my chicken pens yesterday evening and it took forever to get the chickens to bed, clean house too late and they just have to decide if they are going to go in. It's been too hot during the day to do any real outside work. But that gave me time to water my flowers. I cooked dinner last night and didn't get a chance to eat, DH offered my zucchini Bread so that is what kept me up last night baking into the wee hours, needless to say I didn't wait for sleep. I hope the storms didn't do any damage.

You are a very busy WOMAN!!! Wouldn't we get a lot more done if we didn't have to cook and eat!!

No damage here. I saw a few limbs down in town this morning, but nothing too bad. Supposed to get more this evening. I wish I could get into quilting like you do. It's just not my passion I guess.

That and chickens are my hobbies and gardening and..........what ever else I can come up with lol. but I don't have a full time job, I clean offices and a church and I have one house. So the beginning of the week is pretty much free, I'm not much of a tv watcher so I have to do something. While I sew I do listen to movies on my computer but that is mostly for noise.

I like to read, sew and crafts of all kinds. My latest is to get into pottery. I found out how to make clay whistles this spring. The grandchildren and I made them and they are so fun. They actually work! But it was airdry clay and it is a bit brittle, so need to take them to get fired. A friend sold me a professional kiln for $50 that was her mothers. I don't know how to use it yet, but I'm going to try to take some classes this fall. I love to learn to do new things, but after that I move on to another challenge. I used to have a booth at a craft mall and made wood crafts. That's been about 15 years ago. Did that for a couple of years or so. I have my tv on but mostly like you for the noise.
 
OHhappychicks blocks are here actually they came yesterday, but finally remember to check the mail today,


just 2 more sets to go then sort and ship!!!!!
